    Whenever I open a second movie in QuickTime Player, the other movie disappears. Why is this?

DISCUSSION

    By default, QuickTime Player 4 allows only one movie window to be open at a time. This can be changed by choosing Preferences/General from the Edit menu and checking the "Open movie in new player" checkbox.
