    This article provides important information about compatibility with Mac OS 9.

DISCUSSION

    If your computer or CD-ROM drive is not manufactured by Apple, or you have an Apple CD-ROM drive and you use a non-Apple driver, your CD-ROM drive may not function correctly. Remove the file named "Apple CD / DVD" from the Extensions folder (in the System Folder), and reinstall the software that came with your CD-ROM drive. Contact the CD-ROM manufacturer to see if you have the latest version of their software.
