Mac OS X: 128-Bit 2D/3D Professional Graphics Card Causes Kernel Panic

Some Power Macintosh G3 models offered a build-to-order option for a 128-Bit 2D/3D Graphics Accelerator Card, which does not work with Mac OS X 10.0 to 10.2.8.

Solution

You should not use the 128-Bit 2D/3D Professional Graphics Card in a computer with Mac OS X 10.0 to 10.2.8. The 128-Bit 2D/3D Professional Graphics Card does not meet the system requirements for Mac OS X versions 10.0 to 10.2.8.
