Symptom
Classic application programs stop responding or "freeze" after you force quit Outlook Express or Internet Explorer in the Classic environment.
Note: This issue does not affect the Mac OS X-native version of Internet Explorer installed in your Mac OS X Applications folder.
Solution
1. Save any work that you have open.
2. Restart the Classic environment by doing one of the following:- Click Restart in the Classic preference pane. This only restarts the Classic environment. It does not restart the computer.
- Log out, then log back in.
- Restart the computer.
