Mac OS X 10.2: Mail - How to Remove a .Mac Account
This document explains how to remove a .Mac account from Mail.
Follow these steps:
1. Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.
2. Choose Internet from the View menu.
3. Click the Email tab.
4. Deselect the checkbox for "Use .Mac Email account".
5. If any of your .Mac account information is listed in the other fields, either delete it or replace it with the information from the Email account you want to use.
6. Open Mail.
7. Choose Preferences from the Mail menu.
8. Click Accounts.
9. Select the .Mac account.
10. Click Remove.
