Mac OS X: How to Set Up Multiple IP Addresses on the Same Network Interface

This document explains how to set up multiple IP addresses on the same network interface (or port), a practice sometimes known as multihoming or IP aliasing.
In Mac OS X, this is achieved simply by creating a new port configuration for each IP address that you need to use. Give each new port configuration the IP information that is appropriate for your network scenario.
