Symptom
A user with a blank password cannot log in.
Solution
Follow these steps:
1. In Workgroup manager, select affected user.
2. Look at the Password and Verify fields. Both should show eight bullets, "········". If the password fields are blank, select another user, then reselect the affected user.
3. Delete the contents of the Password and Verify fields.
4. Click the Save button. A warning about blank passwords should appear.
5. Click OK.
You have reset the blank password, and the user should be able to log in without a password.
