The LaserWriter Select 360 is based on a new 600 dpi print engine, and it is not compatible with the original LaserWriter Select 300/310 toner cartridge (M2029G/A). However, a universal LaserWriter Select toner cartridge (M1960G/A) is compatible with the LaserWriter Select 360, LaserWriter Select 310, and LaserWriter Select 300 printers. The universal LaserWriter Select toner cartridge is also compatible with the LaserWriter Select 610, which is only available outside the United States.
