Zip Drive: Reinstalling Software

After initializing the hard disk and reinstalling the System Software, the internal Zip drive no longer works. What happened?

Reinstalling the Zip software for your computer is a separate process. Here are the steps:

1. Drag the Iomega Tools folder from your Apple Macintosh CD to your hard drive. (The Iomega Tools folder is in the CD Extras folder on the CD.)

2. Drag both the Iomega Drive Options control panel and the Iomega Drive extension to the System Folder on your hard drive. You will be asked whether you would like to put these files in the appropriate locations. Click "OK".

3. Restart your computer.
