While viewing the Mac Help topic "Switching between open programs", clicking the link titled "Open the Application Switcher in icon view for me" or the link titled "Open the Application Switcher in a horizontal row for me" causes the Application Switcher miniwindow to open without a title bar, a close box, or a zoom box. See Figures 1 and 2.

Solution
Follow these steps to restore the Application Switcher miniwindow to its default state, which includes a title bar, a close box, and a zoom box (see Figure 3):
2. Choose Mac Help from the Help menu; the Mac Help window opens.
3. Click "Files and programs" within the Mac Help window.
4. Click "Switching between open programs" within the Mac Help window.
5. Click "Restore the default display settings for the Application Switcher for me". (You may have to scroll toward the bottom of the window's contents in order to see this item.)

You can now move the miniwindow by dragging its title bar, quickly resize it with the zoom box, or close it with the close box.
