Download and install Mac OS X 10.3.2 Update or later to avoid this issue.
If you're not ready to update, you can fix this by modifying the /etc/cups/cupsd.conf file.
- Click the Finder icon in the Dock.
- From the Go menu, choose Go to Folder.
- Type: etc/cups
- Click Go.
- Double-click the "cupsd.conf" file. This dialog appears: "There is no default application specified to open the document 'cupsd.conf.'"
- Click Choose Application.
- In the Choose Application dialog, the Applications folder is already selected. Select TextEdit, then click Open.
- In TextEdit, scroll through the document until you see "ServerName 127.0.0.1".
- Click on the empty line that appears below ServerName.
- Type: MinCopies 0
- From the File menu choose Save.
- Close the TextEdit window.
