To fix this, a user with an administrator account needs to change the limited user's Accounts preferences.
- Log in with an administrator account.
- From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
- From View menu, choose Accounts.
- Select the affected (managed) user account, then click Limitations.
- In "Some Limits", deselect "This user can only use these applications".
- In "This user needs:", select "No Limits" or "Simple Finder".
