Windows clients won't be able to connect to an AppleShare IP (ASIP) 6.3.x server over SMB after applying Microsoft Security Bulletin MS05-011. More information about this bulletin can be found at:

Because AppleShare IP is no longer updated, the solution is to upgrade to Mac OS X Server 10.3 or later.
