Mac OS X 10.4: Some VoiceOver key commands may not work with British ISO keyboards

If you are using VoiceOver with an Apple British ISO keyboard (not an Apple English ANSI keyboard), some VoiceOver key commands will not work as expected.

If you press any of the following VoiceOver key commands, its designated function will not be performed:

• Typing a backslash (\\) will not open or close a disclosure triangle.
• Typing a tilde (~) won't resize a window.
• Typing an accent (`) won't move a window.

As a workaround, try using an Apple English ANSI keyboard with VoiceOver.

Tip: To view the available VoiceOver commands, open VoiceOver Utility (it's in /Applications/Utilities) and choose VoiceOver Commands from the Help menu, or download the VoiceOver Keyboard diagram in PDF format from this webpage.
