When you assign MIDI tracks to play back through the internal QuickTime Synth object in Logic Pro or Logic Express 7, the pitchbend events will sound late.
You can avoid this issue by routing your MIDI data to the DLS MusicDevice synthesizer instead of to the internal QuickTime Synth object. If you're using the QuickTime Synth, your setup probably looks like this:
To route MIDI to the DLS MusicDevice, insert the DLS MusicDevice instrument into an Audio Instrument channel by clicking the channel's input slot and choosing Stereo > AU Instruments > Apple > DLS MusicDevice from the pop-up menu. Grab the cable from the Multi Instrument that's currently connected to the QuickTime Synth object and connect it to the Audio Instrument.
