Troubleshooting photo transfers with iPod Camera Connector and Canon EOS 20D

You may experience difficulty when attempting to transfer photos using the iPod Camera Connector with a Canon EOS 20D and a supported iPod. You may see one or more of the following error messages on the iPod:

• No card inserted
• Camera not connected
• Device not supported

Solution

Try one or more of the following troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue and allow photos to be transferred a supported iPod:

• Change the camera's transfer mode from Normal (Type 4) to PTP (check you camera's documentation to see how to change the transfer mode)..
• Press the blue playback button on the rear of the Canon EOS 20D before connecting it to the iPod.
• With the camera, iPod Camera Connector, and iPod all connected and turned on, reset the iPod and press the blue playback button on the camera
