Mac OS X Server 10.4: How to publish a podcast using the server‘s weblog feature

You can publish a podcast using Mac OS X Server's built-in weblog feature. Just follow these steps:

1. Connect to your weblog server at:
   

   http://serveraddress:port/weblog/

   
   
2. Log in with your account's short name and password.
3. Click New Entry.
4. Type in a title and description.
5. Click Advanced.
6. Click the podcast Choose File button.
7. Select the podcast, and click the Choose button.
8. Click Save.

To subscribe to the podcast, follow these steps:

1. In iTunes, choose Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast... .
2. Enter the URL to your weblog in this format:
   

   http://serveraddress:port/weblog/usershostname/?flavor=rss2

   
   For example, if your server address is www.demo.edu, running on port 80, and your user account's short name is "joe," you would enter this URL:
   

   http://www.demo.edu/weblog/joe/?flavor=rss2
