Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) versions 2.x and 3.x store system information gathered from clients in a PostgresSQL database. This data can be accessed by
industry-standard ODBC compliant database tools or via command-line tools. The data can used for archival purposes, customer reporting, and client maintenance.
