Issue or symptom
In some cases, if the primary Mac OS X 10.4 language is set to Japanese or Spanish, some applications' Help content will appear in English instead of their specified language.
Solution
Download and install the Mac OS X 10.4.11 Update, or later.
If the issue persists after installing Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later
- If the application's Help content continues to be displayed in English, close the affected application.
- Click the Finder icon in the Dock, then choose Home from the Go menu.
- Open the Library folder.
- Open the Caches folder.
- Locate the file named "com.apple.helpui folder" and move it to the Trash.
- Close the Caches folder.
- Back in the Library folder, open the Preferences folder.
- Locate the file named "com.apple.helpviewer.plist" and move it to the Trash.
- Locate the file named "com.apple.help.plist" and move it to the Trash.
- Open the affected application again.
