Issue or symptom
A NetInstall image created from a volume may not be able to restore clients.
Solution
- In the .nbi folder for the affected image, mount the NetInstall.dmg file.
- Get Info on the mounted disk image and make sure "Ignore ownership on this volume" is not selected (not checked) .
- Execute the following command in Terminal:
/usr/sbin/asr imagescan --source '/Volumes/NetInstall/System/Installation/Packages/System.dmg' --filechecksum
- When the asr command completes, unmount the NetInstall image.
