Aperture 2: Date on exported master image may be different in rare circumstances

Issue or symptom

In certain rare cases, the date for exported masters may be different than the original.

Solution

This can happen if the original master had no EXIF date. In those cases, IPTC data will be used. If there is no IPTC date, then the modification date for the master image file will be used. This is expected behavior.
