iPod touch: What to do if iTunes does not show Mail sync options

Issue or symptom

When installing the iPod touch January Software Upgrade for the first time, the Sync Mail accounts option may not appear in iTunes.

Solution

Use this document to verify the iPod touch January Software Upgrade is installed. Then disconnect iPod touch from the computer and then reconnect iPod touch to the USB port.
