Network Assistant 4: Computer Won‘t Restart

When you try to restart a Network Assistant 4 client, the computer stops responding. A blank screen appears, as if the computer were restarting, but the power light (LED) remains on.

Symptom

When you try to restart a Network Assistant 4 client, the computer stops responding. A blank screen appears, as if the computer were restarting, but the power light (LED) remains on.


Solution

Deselect the Voice Verification option in the Multiple Users control panel.

Note: Macintosh Manager clients must be logged out, or a dialog box will appear on the screen preventing the computer from restarting.
