After updating to Mac OS 9.1 or later the option to format a Zip disk in DOS format may no longer appears in the Format Options menu of the Iomega Tools application.
Symptom
The option to format a Zip disk in DOS format no longer appears in the Format Options menu of the Iomega Tools application.
Solution
Upgrade to IomegaWare 3.0.4 or later and use the Iomega Tools application to format Zip disks as DOS. IomegaWare 3 is available for Mac OS 9 from the Iomega Web site (http://www.iomega.com/software/ioware3mac.html).
