Mac OS 9: Custom Icons and File Synchronization Control Panel

The File Synchronization control panel may not work properly if folders or volumes listed in the control panel window have custom icons.

To remove a custom icon from a folder or volume:

1. Select the icon on the desktop.

2. Choose Get Info from the File menu.

3. Select the icon in the upper-left corner of the window.

4. Choose Cut from the Edit menu.
