Symptom
When you print from a Mac OS X application, shortly after Print Center opens and displays the status of the print job, a message appears that says the printer connection is closing. An alert message may also appear. The printer doesn't print anything.
Solution
1. Download and install the current driver for your printer from Lexmark's Web site (http://www.lexmark.com).
2. On the Install Ink Cartridge screen, you must click Edit and then select your cartridges. This step is not optional.
