Songs from iTunes Store do not copy to your iPod
iTunes does not copy purchased songs to your iPod if its software is too old.

If either of the following occurs, download and install the latest software for your iPod.
Tip: This can also occur if the computer you are using is not authorized to play the songs you purchased. Try to play one of the songs on the computer. The song will either play or you will be prompted to authorize it.

- Songs you purchased from the iTunes Store don't appear on your iPod.
- When you update the music library on your iPod, this message appears:
- "Some of the songs in the iTunes music library, including the song "<song name>", were not copied to the iPod "<iPod name>" because they cannot be played on an iPod."
