Symptom

iTunes only recognizes first audio CD you put in the computer's drive. Other CDs don't appear in iTunes.


Solution


  1. Click the Start button then point to Run.
  2. In the Run window, type "msconfig" in the Open field.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Click the Startup tab in the System Configuration Utility window.
  5. Locate the item from the list named "Shwicon2k" and deselect it.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Restart the computer. Upon restart, this message appears: "You have used the System Configuration Utility to make changes to the way Windows starts."
  8. Click the "Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when Windows starts" checkbox.
  9. Click OK.
