Digital Cinema Desktop is installed by and works with Final Cut Pro HD. Even though it can appear as an option in Final Cut Pro 4, it will not work and should not be used.

To return the program to its normal state, follow these steps:
  1. Open Final Cut Pro.
  2. From the Final Cut Pro menu, choose Audio/Video Settings.
  3. In the General tab, set Video Playback to None.
