PhotographicPhotographic matching is best for images with many different colors and shades, especially when the image included a neutral color (such as a white border). This method allows for better continuous tone changes from one color to another.
Business GraphicsBusiness Graphics matching is best for charts, graphs, and other images with large areas of single colors.
Spot ColorSpot Color matching works best for images that have a large area of similar colors or shades of one color, and for images that do not include a neutral color (such as a white border). This method allows continuous tone consistency with any selected color. For example, a small background color behind a heading.
