AppleSearch 1.0 as shipped does not run on the Power Macintosh. A patch is available that will update AppleSearch to version 1.0.1. The only purpose of this patch is to add Power Macintosh compatibility.

Note: Users will likely see a performance reduction of up to 30% running AppleSearch servers on a Power Macintosh. This will be resolved when a native code version of AppleSearch is made available.
