Perhaps the best thing about MacLinkPlus is that you won't see it until you need it. Your System 7.5 Upgrade kit came with a System Extension called Macintosh Easy Open. When you double-click on a file that wasn't created by an application you have, Easy Open pops up choices of applications on your Mac you can open the file into with the help of MacLinkPlus file translation.
