Apple Presents AppleWriter: On the Apple IIc in 80 column mode

I have a platinum Apple IIc and the 80 column side of my "Apple Presents AppleWriter" disk will not boot.
The 80 Column side of the disk "Apple Presents AppleWriter" will not boot on a platinum Apple IIc unless the 80/40 column switch is down (in 80-column mode).

As far as we know, there are no plans to upgrade the program.
