I am trying to install RAM on my LaserWriter 8500. The user guide text says the SIMM notch should be on the left, but the illustration shows it on the right. Which is correct?
The notch should be on the left. The illustration is in error. Do not try to force the SIMM into the slot. If you have difficulty installing RAM, consult with an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
