Symptom

The Mac OS X Server CD with Part number Z691-2251-A identifies the software as version 1.1.

Solution

The correct version number for this particular release is version 1.0.

Version 1.0 of Mac OS X Server can, and should be, updated using the Mac OS X Server 1.0-1 Patch if QuickTime Streaming Server 1.0 is required. For more information on the Patch, refer to article 59005: "Mac OS X Server: About Mac OS Server 1.0-1 Patch"
