Mac OS X Server: No Client Name Returned To NetInfo Client

I have a Netinfo client that boots binding to a NetInfo parent, but I cannot get the NetInfo parent to return the client name to the NetInfo client.
If your gateway address is set to the loopback address 127.0.0.1, you will experience this behavior with NetInfo. To correct this condition, Apple recommends that you enter the correct gateway address for your network.
