Apple's LocalTalk PC card is compatible with:
- IBM PS/2, models 25 and 30
- PC XT
- PC AT
and most clones, all of which use the PC bus.
Apple's LocalTalk PC card is NOT compatible with:
- IBM 3270 Communication card
- PCs using MicroChannel bus architecture
- PCs using OS/2
TOPS "FlashCard" works with the 3270 Communication card and may be a viable
workaround.
Tangent Technologies has announced a card that works with PCs having the
MicroChannel bus architecture.
