We successfully printed multipage documents from a Macintosh 950 running System 7.5.5 to a serially connected ImageWriter LQ.
Mac OS 8 Compatibility
We do not have knowledge of the degree of compatibility between the ImageWriter LQ driver and Mac OS 8 as this 10 year old printer was not tested, but anecdotal reports indicate some degree of compatibility. However, should you wish to use this combination, please proceed at your own risk.
Notes: - The ImageWriter LQ and ImageWriter and ImageWriter II printer command sets are very similar, so you might test printing using the ImageWriter driver, that can be installed with the Mac OS 8 installer.
