Power Computing's PCI Timing Update extension is designed to correct a timing behavior which may cause intermittent issues on some PCI cards when used with Mac OS computers based on the original 7200 logic board design. This update is only intended for Power Computing 7200-based systems including the PowerTower, PowerCenter, PowerCenter Pro, and PowerCurve family computers and will not function on non-Power Computing machines. Known occurrences of irregular behavior due to the PCI timing issue are: Users with ATI XClaim GA and XClaim VR video accelerator cards experience intermittent choppy sound.
