Apple no longer distributes the LaserWriter Pro 810 UNIX Installer software. However, the LaserWriter Pro 810 has many features in common with the Dataproducts LZR 2080 printer, and their VpManage configuration software is available online.
Unsupported workaround:
When configuring an UNIX system using VpManage, enter LZR15/2080 when asked for the model of printer, this enables you to print to a LaserWriter Pro 810. No other functional testing was performed other than verifying the ability to print. However, using VpManage is another option you may wish to explore.
