Apple DVD Player 2.0: How to Change the Size of the Viewer Window

This article discusses how to change the size of the Viewer window in Apple DVD Player 2.0 under Mac OS 9.

To change the size of the Viewer window:
Size options available from the Video menu:

Set the Viewer window to its smallest size (160 x 120 pixels)

Half Size
Set the Viewer window to half its normal size (360 x 240 pixels)

Normal Size
Set the Viewer window to its normal size (640 x 480 pixels)

Fill Screen
Set the Viewer window to use the entire screen, while preserving the aspect ratio of the movie, except for the menu bar
Command-3
Fill Screen Wide
Set the Viewer window to widescreen mode on widescreen displays. (The disc must be correctly manufactured for widescreen playback.)
Command-4
Present Video on Screen
Present the video using the entire screen, hiding the menu bar. To see the menu bar, move the pointer to the top of the screen.
Command-Option-P
To change this key command, choose Preferences from the Edit menu and click the Hot Keys tab.
