PowerPoint: How To Speed Up Printing



Here is a tip to speed up printing for PowerPoint users

From "One-on-One with Microsoft" newsletter, Summer 1989, p.6:

The LaserWriter printer is optimized for printing bitmaps in Tall (Portrait)
orientation. Normally, however, PowerPoint presentations are printed in Wide
(Landscape) orientation. To avoid slow printing, deselect the Faster Bitmap
Printing option in the Page Setup dialog box.
