Can I use TCP/IP in both the Mac OS and Windows environment on the Power Macintosh 4400/200 PC Compatible?
Yes, it is possible to use IP services in both environments. A separate IP number is needed as well as an IP client. If you are using Windows 95, all of the necessary TCP/IP components are included on the Windows 95 installation CD. You should essentially configure the PC Card the same way they configure other Window 95 computers on your network. The only Apple related items necessary for Ethernet networking are the drivers included on the "PC Compatible disk for Windows", which ships with the product. If you have CD version of Apple's PC Compatibility Card software, the appropriate drivers in the APPLE folder on the CD labeled "PC Utilities".
