Power Macintosh 6500/300: Ships with Partial Iomega Software

We have determined that the Power Macintosh 6500/300 configuration, which ships with an Iomega drive, only contains the Iomega driver in the System Folder. It does not contain any of the extras which have been included with previous ZIP configurations, such as the Iomega Guest or Iomega Tools application.

- Where can users get the complete software?

- Also, the Iomega driver version we have is version 5.0.3 while Iomega only has version 5.0.1 posted to their web site. Can I use the Iomega 5.0.1 tools with the Iomega 5.0.3 driver?

According to Iomega, Iomega tools version 5.0.1 can be used and is fully compatible with Iomega driver 5.0.3 that ships with Apple's Power Macintosh computers and system software.

Version 5.0.3 of the Iomega driver is functionally the same as version 5.0.1. Version 5.0.3 was updated for Apple by Iomega to allow for international localization.
