We are not aware of any commercially available infrared controllers that
connect to the Macintosh.
If someone is interested in building a controller, they should check a back
issue listing in Byte magazine. Several years ago Steve Ciarcia published an
article describing the construction of a programmable infrared controller in
his Byte column, "Ciarcia's Circuit Cellar".
Another approach for controlling multiple audio CDs from the Macintosh is using
up to seven AppleCD SC drives daisy-chained on the SCSI bus. These are
individually controllable from HyperCard via the HyperCard CD Audio Toolkit
available from APDA.
