Here's some information about type 1 cable:
- Two-stranded, AWG #22, shielded twisted pair, solid wire, heavy jacket.
- Supports up to 260 stations, 33 Multi-Station Access Units (MAU) per
ring.
- Tested up to 16M bps.
- Maximum lobe length: 330 feet.
To connect to our TokenTalk NB Card, you also need a Token Ring Adapter cable,
which is shielded twisted pair about 8 feet long. One end of this cable is the
IBM data connector to connect to an MAU; the other end is a DB-9 connector to
our TokenTalk NB Card.
