AppleWorks 6: How to Align Data in Spreadsheet Cells

This article explains how to align data in spreadsheet cells.
Alignment determines where data appears in a cell relative to the left and right borders of the cell.

To align data:
Select the cells you want to align.
Choose Alignment from the Format menu, then choose General, Left, Center, or Right from the submenu.
General (the default alignment) aligns text to the left and numbers to the right.

Tip: You can also turn on cell word wrap by choosing Wrap from the submenu.
