IMPORTANT: To avoid confusion when entering dates, always use 4-digit years. In order for AppleWorks to interpret 4-digit years properly, click "Show century" in the Date Formats dialog box of the Date & Time control panel (in the Apple menu).
Confirm your changes.
If you are editing a cell that contains a formula, you must confirm your edits before you click in another cell. If you don't, AppleWorks adds the cell's reference to the formula.
If you can't edit a cell:
The cell might be locked. Unlock the cell to edit it.
If you can't see all the data in the entry bar:
Click in the entry bar and use the arrow keys to move the insertion point. Depending on your spreadsheet preferences, you can also use the arrow keys to move to other cells.
