It is based on Virginia Systems' mainstream Sonar Professional text retrieval and document imaging systems for the Macintosh. WebSonar is a complete drag, drop, search and deliver, document management system optimized for AppleShare IP. WebSonar allows users to dynamically publish information quickly and easily on either the Internet or an intranet by simply dropping their existing files into a folder. WebSonar can archive then search very large databases, standard legacy documents, PDF and html documents all at the same time.
