Virex: The Scan Area

Use the options in the Preference dialog's Scan area to determine how Virex scans for viruses and Trojan horses.

Scan inside compressed (.gz) and archived (.tar) files. This option is active by default. For more information, see Differences between compressed and archive files

Automatically scan at login.

Show detailed results information. This option is active by default.
